Instruction for Category Certificates
- Candidates who belong to the following categories need to upload a valid category certificate
- Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC – NCL)
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
- Scheduled Caste (SC)
- Schedule Tribe (ST)
- Persons with Disability (PwD)
- For OBC-NCL, EWS, SC and ST categories, certificate issued ONLY by authorized officials (refer Annexure V) shall be valid.
- For participating in admission process, the OBC-NCL and EWS certificate should have been issued on or after April 01, 2022. However, on the day of joining at the admitting institute, candidates who have secured admission under the OBC-NCL or EWS category may be required to provide a certificate issued on or after April 01, 2023.
- The format for OBC-NCL Certificate is given in Annexure VI.
- The format for EWS Certificate is given in Annexure VII.
- Physical Disability Certificate for applicants of PwD category should meet the requirements specified in Annexure V.
